Commercial Vehicle & Car AC Repair & Service for Plymouth
Imagine you’re driving down the A38, ready to start a long journey – only to find that your air conditioning has packed up. Perhaps your long-awaited road trip plans aren’t looking so fun anymore. There’s nothing worse than being stuck on the road on a hot summer’s day without functioning AC.
Rest assured, whether you own a car or a commercial vehicle, Plymouth Radiators are here to help! Whilst our company name indicates we specialise in repairing vehicle radiators, we also offer Car Air Conditioning Repair in Plymouth, along with Servicing to keep your system in tip-top condition.
Don’t Forget Your Car Air Conditioning Service!
To prevent your vehicle’s AC from breaking down at the most inconvenient times and to avoid unexpected repairs, your best bet is to get it serviced before it’s too late.
Did you know that your air conditioning filters should be replaced every 12 months, or every 12,000 to 15,000 miles? (Whichever comes first.) If you can’t remember when you last had your air conditioning serviced (if ever!), it might be time to get the professionals involved.
Don’t worry – we won’t judge! You may be surprised (or not!) to hear the number of times we’ve had clients come to us, who have been none the wiser about servicing their AC.
In fact, we recommend servicing your car’s air con every two years. However, if you frequently use your vehicle or if it’s an older model, it may need more frequent servicing, such as every year.
Our Comprehensive Car AC Service
As part of our comprehensive Car Air Conditioning Service, we follow a thorough process, including:
- Full air con system checks and tests
- A complete service and re-gassing of your air con system, including oil, fluorescent dry, R134A, and 1234YF gases
- Supply and installation of new pollen filters
- Supply and installation of heater blower components, when necessary
- A full 30-minute cockpit sanitisation, including a fresh-smelling deodoriser
- Mould and bacteria removal
Not only do we provide comprehensive AC Servicing, but we also carry out general maintenance and winter inspections for your car or commercial vehicle. These services include checking and replacing antifreeze, servicing thermostats, and replacing components of your cooling system. That way – your car can keep you warm in the winter, cool in the summer and function properly all year-round!
