2024 has been another whirlwind year for us here at Plymouth Radiators. We’ve been incredibly busy, tackling a wide range of projects, from routine maintenance to complex repairs. We’ve been busy in the garage and out and about in our local community.
Looking Back at a Year of Special Projects and New Skills
Unique Projects
One highlight of the year was the opportunity to work on several unique and challenging projects. These jobs required extra attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a dash of creativity. We’re proud of the team for stepping up to the plate and delivering exceptional results.
Investing in the Future
We’ve made significant investments in our business to continue providing industry leading service. We’ve upgraded our equipment with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and air conditioning machines. Our team has also undergone extensive training to ensure they’re equipped to handle the latest technologies and industry standards.

Customer Satisfaction
We’re thrilled to have received numerous 5-star Google reviews from our valued customers. The positive feedback really showcases our commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
The Next Generation!
We’re also excited to share that we’ve been actively involved in training the next generation of automotive professionals. Paul’s son, Dexter, has gained valuable hands-on experience through a year-long work experience retainer, while Ceri’s eldest daughter has started a Saturday job at the garage. It’s been a rewarding experience to share our knowledge and skills with young, aspiring professionals.

Community Engagement
We’ve had the pleasure of attending numerous community events this year. These events have allowed us to share our expertise with the public, connect with potential clients, and support local initiatives. Our passion for classic cars (and inevitably Classic Car Repair!) has taken us to various car shows across Devon. Our very own “Noddy,” Paul’s beloved Austin 18/6, has been a real showstopper, particularly at the Plymouth Motor Show, where it was awarded “Best in Show”! It’s been a thrill to share our classic car with the community and celebrate British (and Cornish, as that was where the car originated) automotive heritage.

A Toast to the Team
To celebrate a successful year, we recently had our annual work do. We sampled some of Cornwall’s finest, including some particularly potent brews that are sure to knock your socks off (7.2%)! It was a fantastic opportunity to relax, unwind, and appreciate our team’s hard work and dedication. Plus, it was a really good laugh!

Restoring Noddy
We’ve also been hard at work restoring Noddy to its original specification. We recently re-fitted the original wheels, which were discovered in the previous owner’s garage. Bringing a piece of automotive history back to life has been incredibly satisfying.
Bring On 2025!
As we wrap up another successful year, we’re already looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that 2025 will bring. We’re committed to continuing our tradition of excellence, innovation, and community.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our customers and the local community and look forward to many more exciting adventures in the years to come. So, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for everyone, past and present, and their continued support. It’s been a busy year, and we couldn’t have achieved it without you.
